Solar Products is geared to supplying good quality solar related items to the UK market. We get samples of all our goods before committing to purchase so that we can assess the build quality: If we stock it then you can be sure that quality is not an issue.
We only supply the best monocrystalline cell panels; you will not see any cheap amorphous ones here. All the panels that we sell are weatherproof and are designed to be left outside.
The panels can be connected directly to a 12 volt rechargeable battery or they can be connected to one of our solar charge controllers. The controller then being connected to the battery.
The solar battery charge controllers listed on the site are of various power levels, starting at the 10 amp controller and going up to the 24 amp controller. The 10 amp controllers are straight forward devices which give the charge indication as led light illumination of varying colour. The 24 amp controllers give led light and LCD display of the charge state.
Controllers are only required on panels of 15 watt and above but we always recommend using a controller if you are leaving the panel connected to the battery and are not there to disconnect it when the battery is fully charged, whatever the power of the charger panel.

The 12 volt 11 watt energy saving bulbs are a real find. They have a standard Bayonet Fitting base, the same as your houshold mains supply fittings and give off a light around the output of a 60 watt tungsten mains bulb. They are ideal in locations that do not have mains electricity or where portability is paramount. I also have Edison Screw bulbs, please ask for details
